St. Joseph's is located off Gratiot Ave., a bit east of Detroit's Eastern Market. Follow these directions or use the map link at the bottom of the page.

From Jefferson Ave.

• From the east, take Jefferson and turn right at St. Aubin (just before Jefferson meets I-75). Head north and look for Chestnut on the left. Turn left on Chestnut and follow it until it dead ends at Orleans. The church is straight ahead.
• From the west, pass I-75 and turn left at the light that leads to the northbound I-75 service drive. Take the service drive and turn right on Antietam (just before Gratiot). Antietam St. will snake left and then right. After the right turn, you will see St. Joseph's coming up on your left at Orleans St.

From I-94

Take I-94 to southbound I-75, and then follow the directions below.

From southbound I-75

Take I-75 south and get off on the Lafayette exit. At Monroe or any other bridge to the left, cross the freeway and turn left on the service drive. Keeping right on the service drive, turn right on Antietam (just before Gratiot). Antietam St. will snake left and then right. After the right turn, you will see St. Joseph's coming up on your left at Orleans St. (It may seem to seasoned Detroiters that this leads in a circle, but the route from the Gratiot exit takes some tricky maneuvring.)
